About Department.
The Department of Marathi is one of the oldest departments in college.The Department of Marathi established in 1974. The department is headed by Prof. Ganesh S. Wairagade. The main focus of the department is to teach to speak Marathi fluently in this tribal and hilly area students. For the first year batch, almost 300-320 students get admitted in department to learn Marathi as a second language from all three streams. The department inspires student to pursue P.G. courses in recognised Universities and Colleges. Every year many students choose Marathi as a subject study for Post Graduation.
