About Department.

The department of Mathematics for undergraduate courses came into existence in 2002, affiliated to Sant Gadge Baba Amravati University. The Department has encountered, experienced and dedicated 02 faculty members. The department is imparting quality education in the field of Mathematics. Mathematics is at the heart of science, engineering and technology, swell as being an indispensable problem-solving and decision-making tool in many other areas of life. Mathematics has got a great importance in the industrial and economic development of a country. This course has great scope and it enables the candidates to use their mathematical knowledge in different areas. The scope of opportunities is vast for mathematics as they are equipped with skills and knowledge which required for jobs in fields such as finance, education, engineering, science and business, as well as mathematics and mathematical science research.

Shri. Vasantrao Naik Mahavidyalaya Dharni organized “National Level Webinar on Career Prospects in Mathematics” on December 30, 2020.
National Level Quiz Competition was organized by Department of Mathematics, Shri. Vasantrao Naik Mahavidyalaya, Dharni and Smt. Narsamma Arts, Commerce And Science College, Kiran Nagar, Amravati under the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU’s) on dated 02 May 2022 through online mode.
National Level Quiz Competition was organized by Department of Mathematics, Shri. Vasantrao Naik Mahavidyalaya, Dharni and Smt. Narsamma Arts, Commerce And Science College, Kiran Nagar, Amravati under the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU’s) on dated 06 April 2023 through online mode.
