Department of Physics

About Department.

The department of Physics is established in 2002. We offer three-year (semester pattern) degree course in physics. AS per SGBAU guidelines CBCS system is also Implemented by parent university from 2022 - 23. We have highly qualified faculty members (Three assistant professors) with great academic excellence. Almost 120 – 130 students are admitted in the department every year. Our department has specious, well equipped and well-disciplined laboratory. Various teaching tools are used to enhance student’s subject learning.

Departmental Activities.

Student participates in various activities as science exhibitions, Avishkar etc. With classroom teaching and interaction, we also encourage students to participate in extracurricular activities such as virtual tours, group discussions etc. Students are well guided to select their careers after completion of graduation. Highlights of our department are “Activity Board” where we put questions on board weekly and student solve them voluntarily and “Wall Magazine” where students submit their innovations to publish on wall. Students are examining though different assessment as unit tests, assignments, seminars, practical activities etc. Main motive of our department to increase students’ knowledge and developed their practical hands to seek their skilled education.

-The department of Physics has successfully conducted virtual tour on International Space Station and journey beyond the earth.

-The students won third prize in national quiz competition organised by
